SAM HEIMER

The talented Sam Heimer from Philadelphia, PA became even more of an interesting tie between trying to keep everthing about the brewery as local as possible.

The infamous Ida B. Wise was born in Philadelphia and moved to Hamburg, IA with her mother after her father passed away when she was just an infant. Her Philadelphia roots tie to Sam and her Iowa upbringing ties back to Wise I. He was very fitting when we researched him, not only for his talents, but what we wanted our logo to represent as Wise I Brewing Company.

He designed our Wise Man logo, Lantern logo and most recently our ‘King of Cups’ t-shirt, the first of 5 in a series. You’ll be seeing more of his work in the brewery to come. For now, follow him on Instagram to see his many other amazingly detailed artwork. @samheimer

JESSI + JONAS LYNCH // OUT OF TOWN TATTOO & ART COLLECTIVE

Jonas and Jessi Lynch are local tattoo artists out of Remsen, IA. They are owners and creators of Out of Town Tattoo & Art Collective.

This dream team designed our flagship beer logos (plus many other logos/labels), our mural around our entrance, and many of our amazing merch designs. Jessi has created many coloring pages for littles (and adults) that join us in in our family friendly taproom. If you’ve ever noticed our awesome menu chalkboards, chances are, Jessi might have done that for us too! Jessi also had the honor of designing the Iowa Pint Day glass for the Iowa Brewer’s Guild in 2022. Jonas and Jessi are very involved in our local art scene, organizing a very successful city Art Walk that runs through the spring/summer months where local artists can display and sell their art at downtown businesses!

Jessi’s favorite Wise I brew is a tie between the Young Goodman Brown and The Ringo Kid. Her favorite design is The Waco Kid and her favorite beer label is Young Goodman Brown.
