BEN SITZMANN
CO-OWNER + HEAD BREWER
Ben is the master in the brewhouse. He has two children, Caden and Marissa with his wife, Krystin, who is also a co-owner.
Ben’s favorite style of beer is a Märzenbier, but enjoys crispy Pilsners and Hazy IPAs. If you ask him, what his favorite Wise I brew is that he brewed, he’d say the Young Goodman Brown. You could say he’s a lover of all kinds of beer! Hence, why he started a brewery!
When not being Basic Ben for the breweries social media, you can find him in nature hiking, disc golfing, or playing his acoustic guitar.
AISLINN DURR
TAPROOM MANAGER
Aislinn is our ambitious & enthusiastic taproom manager! She has been a part of the Wise I crew since we opened in September. Her presence in the taproom is unlike any other and is always ready to serve you a brew with a smile on her face!
Aislinn’s favorite style of beer is a Stout or a Porter. Her favorite beer is a Mini Donut from Lift Bridge Brewing Company. This beer is only available at Ball Park Cafe during the Minnesota State Fair. Talk about coveted.
She loves to travel to different states to find a new brewery & a beer she hasn’t had before! She’s a lover of music, beer, & dogs.
RYAN ODOR
ASSISTANT BREWER
Ryan works tirelessly to brew all the quality Wise I beers you’ve come to love and enjoy. Originally from Spencer, Ryan currently resides in Hinton with his wife, Beth.
Ryan’s favorite styles of beer to drink are Browns, Porters and Lagers. His favorite style of beer to brew is a Light Lager, because, you know, less spent grain to deal with.
When not brewing, kegging, or cleaning, you can find Ryan volunteering around the community with the Rotary Club, acting in the Community Theater or playing trivia every Monday night here in the taproom!
